Nashville is where Ty first sat behind the board on someone else's record, engineering and recording the band Soupless start to finish. The bigger education happened at home. 1813 Elliot Ave became a real, if entirely unofficial, venue: Ty and his roommates ran full DIY house shows themselves, booking the bands, running sound, working the door, and handling security. No outside venue, no promoter, no business behind any of it.
The flyers tell the real story better than any highlight reel could: a Halloween "Monster Thrash" bill with a wear-a-costume rule, a graveyard-themed Saturday night with Soupless on it, an 18-and-up door with ID checks and a $10 cover. Whatever the genre that week, the PA got dialed in and a packed yard sang along under string lights.
